Links for a day…(vol.46)

January 12, 2010
  • Here’s some Conan O’Brien in happier days and a Faith No More and Max Weinberg skit from 1995.
  • And unusual Faith No More mash-up:
  • Can wait for Faith No More to hit the US? Well, until the real thing come along later in the year, you can always catch new New York FNM tribute band A Small Victory. They play Brooklyn’s Club Europa on 22 June. Check their MySpace.

I saw that Conan sketch for the first time last week and LAUGHED MY ASS OFF.

It’s funny because I actually remember watching that in 1995 but had no idea who the band was lol.

My two favourites, together at last.

That said, I say Conan is doing the right thing and will watch him wherever he goes (read Conan’s honest letter here http://mediadecoder.blogs.nytimes.com/2010/01/12/conan-obrien-says-he-wont-do-tonight-show-following-leno/)

Gah! I saw that episode the night it originally aired, meaning I tuned one night late to see FNM. And I’ve seen this clip on the interwebs. Strange that nobody has the actual performance. Unless it’s a NBC copyright thing or something. I don’t really peruse the big time websites.
