WTF……… Why is there no side show in Brisbane?

    • 2009 November 4

I hope the band can see this because after bypassing Wellington in their NZ Tour all I can say is ….. cocks!

Faith No More…..Your past Wellington Concerts in NZ are Folk Law that I have talked about for most of my adult life. Wellington has the most diverse and alternative group of fans! I encourage you to continue with your well respected departure from the main stream and hold a Wellington Concert, Wellington is your City! Cant wait!!

It’s just been announced on The Rock (NZ Radio station) that there is no wellington show.
    From the Rock.net.nz website:
Faith No More will only be performing 2 New Zealand shows:

Christchurch, Westpac Arena – Tuesday 16 February. Licenced/all ages.
To purchase tickets, phone 0800 TICKETEK or visit http://www.ticketek.co.nz.

Auckland, Vector Arena – Thursday, 18 February. Licenced/all ages.
To purchase tickets, phone (09) 970 9700 or visit http://www.ticketmaster.co.nz.

Tickets go on sale Monday 9th November, at 9am.

    Cheers

WTF, I can’t believe scalpers have taken all the tickets to the festival hall show in a few minutes. This is so unfair to all us true fans that don’t want to pay $400 to go to a show that should of only been $100. One of these dicks made $2500 at least on 10 tickets on ebay. I can’t believe this shit. Once again the little people miss out in Melbourne. Please put on another show for everyone that missed out. Jesus you could put on a huge show at the melbourne show grounds and fill the fucker with all the melbourne FNM fans. So pissed off.

From what I have heard, over 70% of tickets for Festival Hall were allocated before Ticketmaster put them up. Most went to promoters etc. Pretty disappointed as well.

my problem wasnt the scalpers… ticketmaster’s ridiculous CAPTCHA system wouldnt let me through… press the submit button….. nothing… after 10 seconds a message saying code entered was wrong even though it wasnt… reloaded page same process… when it finally let me through the tickets were sold out

I’d like to see them do another show but I think it’s more likely they’ll change up to a bigger venue, or come back later.

    Hi
Am a HUGE fan of Faith No More and was eagerly awaiting your Sydney sideshow, alas I didn’t stand a chance! I guess I’m getting on in years but selling out in less than two hours is madness (and an indication of how loved you still are!). Please consider putting on another Sydney show, there are many very excited fans who are sorely disappointed today.
    Mille grazie,
    Kat

Im from Tassy here, was on the ticket master website about 9:15 (was at work and could not get to a computer sooner) and the whole dame thing had sold out, so our hardcore crew of Fans down here missed out :( Was 3 of us all trying to get tickets and we all failed miserably.

And we are to old to bother with soundwave tyvm lol They needed a huge venue tbh 15k capacity minimum still would of sold out!

Just hope they manage another show NOT festival gig in aus in the next 10 years :P

We must have been very lucky, we managed to get tickets to the Festival Hall gig. Will make the trip over from Tassie worth while. I can’t believe how fast they sold out though, I have friends that missed out.

    Hello,
I remember when you played in Perth at the Perth Entertainment Centre and Mike Patton fell off stage-drunk from red wine. Anyway, it’s great getting back together but it reminds me of driving past old neighbourhoods you lived in in the golden era of childhood and going inside one of the houses you ate and slept in and in your fantasy it’s exactly how it was in your memory but you open your eyes and you realise your’re older and slower and in more pain. You’re not as flexible as you used to be and can’t do backflips off the cupboard onto your bed with your brother like you used to! What I am trying to say is this is good old fashioned Nostalgia. It will be great, but just not as exciting as when your mind was hungry.
