Tour news and rumours

March 25, 2009

After yesterday’s double date announcement, some time to reflect on where next for the Faith No More reunion tour.

  • As previously mentioned the Sczecin Rock Festival in Poland looks likely on 24 June. Indeed, a report on the festival in Polish newspaper Kurier yesterday treated the news that Faith No More would play as a fait accompli. It certainly fits in with Roddy’s Tweet from yesterday alluding to Poland and Sweden. (On that we have no leads on Sweden yet but there are a lot of festivals there in late June and early July so we’ll get investigating)
  • The Rock en Seine festival near Paris on 28-30 August also looks like a done deal. Leading French music radio station NRJ was the latest to allude to this yesterday. Official festival line-up announcement is on 8 April.
  • Two definite French dates have been announced…for Mike Patton in 2010. Mike will play two nights in Paris at the Cité de la Musique on 18 and 20 February. The site suggests Mike will be in Mondo Cane incarnation.
