Commenter vanmosa suggested we look at Papa Roach’s cover of The Gentle Art of Making Enemies from Faith No More’s King for a Day…album. So here goes, but we’ve added a few other covers of this as well as it seems a popular choice. And please vote for your favourite and let us know why you like it or even why you hate the others.

Damn, all those bands suck big time, except, perhaps, Mortero. My God, Papa Roach… they even screw it.

@Jorge, Yes, they all give it a try and fail. Especially the vocals seem to be difficult.
I’ll all watch the movies carefully to see who’s cover is best. But I’ll know already that none will match the original.

Yeah, about the vocals: they all tried so hard and failed. I’ve seen these days some live shows of FNM, and when they play “The Gentle…”, it’s incredible how easy is for Patton to sing this song and even add some new things to the voice every time they play it.

Oh, and the bass in the original song is very good too, but in the covers it’s embarrasing.
