Not much tour news and lots of Patton new project whispers in our latest round-up of Faith No More news.

  • Hot off the press The Guardian seem to have burst the bubble over the proposed Mike Patton and Alan Moore collaboration. Sample quote: “Lex Records have denied reports that is to work with Faith No More’s Mike Patton on a forthccoming recording project. Although the label confirmed that the Watchmen writer plans to release a semi-autobiographical audiobook, with “key” soundtrack elements by musicians Fog and Doseone, they insist the Patton collaboration is nothing but a rumour.”
  • The Internet was all a-frenzy yesterday with a lot of reports taking the Patton involvement in the project as read. The original report in Billboard, however, was much circumspect about the Faith No More front man hooking up with the Watchmen writer. Sample quote:”Mike Patton has a really hectic year because Faith No More has reformed and they are doing the festivals,” says Brown [Tom Brown of Lex Records]. “I know they have both [Patton, Broadrick] been sounded out and they said they are both into it.”
  • On tour news, a piece in the leading Australian newspaper The Age looking ahead to gigs in Australia in the year ahead suggests that Faith No More be may be Down Under in time for the Australian summer. Sample quote: “Some of the other big names believed to be touring Australia towards summer include Fleetwood Mac, Janet Jackson, Green Day, Pearl Jam, Black Eyed Peas, Nickelback, Keith Urban, Taylor Swift, Lauryn Hill, Carol King, and Faith No More. But only AC/DC’s stadium tour early next year has been confirmed.”
  • On more tour update I’ve just spotted. Rumours here of a Faith No More date in Sarajevo and something to do with Bill Gould’s connections with Alter Art. More news when we get it. Any Bosnian fans now any more?

Speaking of FNM in Sarajevo, that would be a very succesful concert because they have a lot (I mean really a lot) fans in Bosnia and surronding countries (Croatia, Serbia, etc.).
    I hope that will happen.
