New Faith No More tour dates?!

June 11, 2009
New tour dates?

New tour dates? Photo courtesy of Joey5001 at BungleFever and first spotted on Gilleathain's Twitter.

None of the shirts I picked up last night at Brixton featured tour dates on the back but some did and an image of one on Twitter from Photobucket shows some new dates:
10 August – Athens
12 August –Ā  Istanbul
25 August – Glasgow
27 August – Dublin
28 August – Reading
30 August – Leeds

    READING!
    YES!
I was getting anxious that there’d been no extra kind of confirmation, but this is good enough for me.
    I’m a happy happy man

    LEEDS FEST! YES!

Ditto what Alex said – was worried this date had fizzled out since there has been no word. Fantastic news!

Im almost without words about how excited this makes me. I’ve been a fan of FNM since I was a kid, and they broke up during my senior year of high school. I never thought id have the chance to see them live, and now I can only hope they will make their way to the states so I can.

I applaud you for running this site, I will now make it a second home.

    Thank you!

    FALTA CHILE!!
    30/10 CONFIRMADO POR RODDY BOTTUM!

  8. June 11, 2009 6:18 pm

Only one of the shirts I got had tour dates on.

None of the fest sites have Faith No More confirmed, don’t wait for these concerts as they might not happen. FNM would have been mentioned by now if they were playing I would have thought.

Maybe the shirts were printed early before all were confirmed, that where the roumers came from about Leeds/Reading.

    just my thoughts.

Guys i went over ffrom Dublin last night but i wouldn’t get our hopes up for Scotland, Reading, Leeds and Dublin. any one who has kept an eye on this site will know about the Reading and Leeds “confirmation” then retraction. as for Dublin there is NOTHING on the web about it. the only way i can see the 4 UK & Ireland dates happening is if was agreed download that these would be very hush hush untill after download. but my own personal beleif is that these gigs were going to happen (when T-Shirts were printed) but the exclusive UK only agreement with download killed them off (except Brixton, 1 warm up gig was in their advantage). heres hoping that a Dublin gig will still happen (they haven’t played here since 93 and canceld one on the KFAD tour). it will kill me though Brixton last night, Berlin Tuesday Dublin 27th ??? I’ll be broke….

    re:Fantomas No More

FNM are meant to be a Download festival ‘exclusive’. Confirming the Reading/Leeds dates before Download fest would break their exclusive contract. Most people are expecting them to announce it soon after the festival. I’m one of those people!

Roddy Bottom has posted a message on twitter stating that Glasgow will be confirmed within the next 12 hours or so.

As for the tshirts, it’s not just on bootleg shirts. Metal Hammer confirmed that the dates were printed on the official shirts.
