Faith No More finally confirmed for Reading and Leeds

As the band themselves revealed some time back, Faith No More will play the Reading festival on Friday 28 August and Leeds on Sunday 30 August. Organisers confirmed today that they will be playing the NME/Radio 1 stage.Will keep you posted on tickets but I believe the event is long sold out.

    Wooo hoo! This is the one I’ve been waiting for! And as far as I’m aware it’s totally sold-out 😦

    Saw FNM at Brixton last week – they deserve to headline Reading and not be put in a tiny tent!

    I’ve seen Kings of Leon 4 times, and FNM were SOOOOO much better.

      You have a point but I think FNM could be awesome in a tent playing to a more devoted crowd. Otherwise, does this slot show us where Faith No More are in the overall scheme of things in the current rock music pecking order? Popular enough to headline metal festivals but a second stage act for the more broad-based fests? Not that being popular is the most important thing for any band as FNM fans know more than most.
