The tickets for the Tuesday 25 August Edge Festival date are now on sale here. Get them before the touts!

I got 2 tickets woop woop
1st Brixton, now Edinburgh yay!
6 mins past 10, no luck sold out, touts already have them on get me in at trebble the price.
Went on ticket master and ticket web well before tickets went on sale, both sites sysems went down and then sold out.
It’s ok, i can get one off ebay now for 5 times the value!

the edinburgh fringe office still have plenty left. there number is 01312260000. i had to wait a little bit, but got thru eventually. good luck!
Ventured into Ticketmaster to try my luck again, after the catastrophic Dublinfail on wednesday. Didn’t make it today either, so god knows maybe it just ain’t to be. Right now I’m busy convincing myself to take all this as a sign that we’ll get a small venue show in Norway this autumn instead.
I signed in at 10, had my details in and hit the buy button 1t 10:02, said there was a queue and then at 10:05 I got a message saying sorry, there are 0 tickets available. What do you know they’re on fucking ebay a few minutes later for up to £300. Fucking disgrace.
I found ticketmaster was shocking – only managed to get tickets through ticketweb
Unfortunately the ticket selling system is not geared up to discouraging ticket touts (should have been a limit of 2 / 4 tix max). Ticketmaster was selling multiples of 6 tickets – the touts went in and mass bought out the system in two minutes flat. A quick check on their sites minutes after the sell out for Edinburgh were showing multiple sales of the tickets (up to 10 tickets a pop) going for £99 each.
Not a case that the fans got the tickets – the touts did. Gotta agree with heatherslalaland – it’s a fekking disgrace, but it doesnae surprise me.
I had tickets in my basket with Ticketweb and it wouldn’t let me proceed as a system error had occured. Went to resubmit details (tickets stay in cart for 15 mins once there) the button to submit was then greyed out.
And yeah, less said about ebay the better!!!
There are some music shops selling tickets. I’m hoping I can get tickets in the local Aberdeen music store…but won’t hold my breath.

Not sure. I went to the Edge Festival page and when you click on tickets it says there are no gigs announced for that date. If you look at other gigs on there, tickets are being sold through the likes of ticketmaster. I tried the Fringe page, and it will only let me add tickets to the wishlist, not buy them.

I got mine luckily enough after losing out on Dublin a few days ago. Might be optimistic but I’m looking to swap 2 tickets for the 25th for 2 tickets to Dublin on the 27th.
which is the smaller venue 🙂 olympia or corn exchange?
As far as I know, Olympia holds around 1300, Corn Exchange is around 3000 maybe?

Woo hoo! Just got 2 tickets from Ed fringe box office 0131 226 0000. Guy said they have LOADS!!!

well i for one hope the touts get lumbered with tickets – not that i dont want the gig to be amazing, but to punish them for really ruining it for the fans! 🙂

One ad I saw on ebay was 170 notes for 2 tickets! FFS! I was going to post this number there but wasn’t sure if that would contravene the rules!

The problem is you get idiots like myself who must go to the show and will pay that amount.
I went on Glasgow and Edinburgh Gumtree and found loads of fans trying to buy tickets. I emailed them all the fringe number and they have all got back saying they got tickets and are well chuffed! Beat the touts!!

They sold out 10 minutes ago at The Fringe, i rang earlier and they said they were sold out then…… i guess some things are just not meant to be, i could cry!

I went to Brixton so i shouldn’t complain really. I don’t want to pay touters prices on principle so i guess i will just have to hope they play the UK again, but i will keep an eye out for people geuninely selling their tickets because they can’t go, if anyone knows off anyone with a spare ticket…..
Didn’t get to the Fringe in time and had just sold out.

i was fearing the worst as all my pals couldn’t get tickets anywhere.
I tried Ticketscotland on Rose St and the nice guy told me to try the Fringe Office. Wandered into the Fringe Office at 1:30pm – 2 tickets just like that!
Phoned my pal to tell his mates. Haven’t heard back but i think it’s all good news.
