  • Australian festival Soundwave, which takes place in February 2010 at various venues, wil be announcing its full lineup next week. Faith No More are strongly rumoured to be making an appearance.
  • As Tweeted last week, check out the Zombiehamster Mike Patton mix here.
  • More great Second Coming posters here (Istanbul) and here (Edinburgh).
  • There are now four tracks from Chuck Mosley’s debut solo album on MySpace. There is quite a revealing Chuck interview from the Cleveland Scene here. Sample quote: “But that [drugs]wasn’t why they fired me. They said I quit, and I told them they can’t say that. Then rumors started up on the Internet, and I became a real terrible person. It became a liability on the business side. That hurt me financially when I wanted to get a record deal.”
  • Faith No More resume the Second Coming tour in Portugal this Saturday at the Festival Sudoeste-TMN. FNM are on stage at 23.30. Newspaper previews here and here. A thorough guide from Blitz magazine here too.
  • In other stage times news , FNM headline the main stage at Sziget on Sunday 16 August at 21.30.
  • They also headline the main stage of the Pukkelpop festival on Thursday 20 August at midnight.
  • At Lowlands on Friday 21 August, Faith No More play at the earlier time of 20.15.
  • Via tbeest, Faith No More will have support from Turkish band Kurban at their 12 August date in Istanbul.

I think the more interesting tidbit from the Chuck interview is being invited to be part of the 2nd coming tour. I’m sure Mike would love to not have to sing the old songs (though he’s shown less disdain for them as before this time around).

Anyone else get a personal message from Chuck for pre-ordering the album? pretty wild…

In regards to his quote about rumors on the internet, the internet as we know it, didn’t even exist when Chuck left the band.

I hope the Aussie dates get announced soon, feels like its been ages (12 years is i guess) Not overly fussed about Chuck singing Mike made F.N.M just my opinion
