More Portugal videos and reaction. There’s another collection of high quality Faith No More videos from their Sudoeste show at the Blitz site here.
My good friend Hugo Pietra was at the gig and here’s his verdict on his excellent blog.
There is a good selection of the high-quality Hurricane footage featured on German TV channel ZDF theaterkanal here.
Pitchfork featured an interview with Doseone AKA Aam Drucker is which he speaks about working with Mike Patton and the controversial British artists the Chapman brothers on a new project called the Nevermen. He also mentions his project with Alan Moore and adds that Mike will be contributing.
Mike’s FNM predecessor Chuck Mosley is getting plenty of press attention for the forthcoming release of his debut solo record Will Rap over Hard Rock for Food with Rolling Stone the latest publication to feature an interview. Sample quote: “That said, would Mosley ever reunite with Faith No More? “Oh, totally! Especially with [guitarist] Jim Martin, because personally, I thought [firing Martin] was as big if not bigger a mistake than getting rid of me — just because he had a lot of pull with the big part of their crowd at the time. And he was ‘the personality,’ y’know? There was something people could identify to. After Jim, they were going through a string of different guitar players, and I couldn’t name one of them. That Jagger/Richards, Plant/Page thing was gone.””
There is also a chance to listen to the full album on AOL (though it seems to US only).
