They didnt played Mark Bowen. They had to change the setlist because Rio screamed and begged for Falling to Pieces. And he said in PORTUGUES: “Ok, just because we are in Rio”. 😉 PS: He forgot the lyrics. LOL

I was there, they didn`t played Mark Bowen and Be Agressive was right after From Out of Nowhere

  4. November 6, 2009 10:35 am

Well Mike P. has long ago said he couldn’t bear this song anymore, if I remember well. 😉
(funny however that they had rehearsed it… just in case ?)

Makes one wonder, what ELSE they have rehearsed and not played so far!
In a interview Billy told they rehearsed 75 songs!
Has someone counted how many difrent songs they already played?

I’ll bet our editor has a count of some sort 🙂

All I know is just keep these videos coming! It’s great to hear something new, even though THIS particular song is a very bad earworm. I hear it once and it’s in my head all day. Since my day has just started I’ll refrain from watching the video until later 😛

(from the bottom it looks like a steep incline, from the top another downhill slope of mine, but I know, the equilibrium’s there. TOO LATE)

PS as Clauspupp noted, 75 songs! Now I’m REALLY hoping that a DVD is coming out of this tour. With every song they’ve played – wishful thinking?

Well, I’d say a DVD is a strong possibility, especially since FNM are all about the $ now. You know you’re a dedicate fan when tickets are disgustingly overpriced, they don’t even play in your country and you still go see them live multiple times. Hell, it would actually be nice if concert goers got a free dvd as a party favor or something. I know. That’s just crazy.

It was in that last interview at the Clarin where Billy mentioned de number of songs:

It’s a hughe number considering that the avarge concert they paly round 18/20 songs this would mean almost 3 totally difrent shows. I summed up quickly the tracklist of the albuns and if you add some b-sides it makes round 80 songs.

Conclusion: FNM has rehearsed every single song they recorded or the number isn’t right.

Now I’m really curious if our dear editor has the actual number of songs already played so far, I think there was a list made with a bunch of difrente FNM number at the end of the first leg. Anyway now I might go to São Paulo with a hughe banner asking for “I wanna fuck myself”..hahahaha…

Back in 1993 Billy Gould said this was the last time they would ever play that song –

I was at the gig and for me, it seemed like they were rehearsing Falling to Pieces on stage. Funniest part of course is when Patton sort of “hands the microphone” to Bordin!

…and I left my voice at the Citibank Hall in Rio!
